The family run transport specialist, Kill Haulage, have just taken receipt of a superbly spec’d DAF LF 230.

Owner of Kill Haulage, Geoff Dunne, and his father, Christy Dunner, joined us at DAF Trucks Ireland for the socially distanced key hand-over delivered by our Sales Manager, John McCann

This is the second DAF delivery for Kill Haulage within a year and it forms part of their new fleet restructure. The new vehicle will enter operation for Sam Hire, who Kill Haulage has been working with as a sub-contractor since the 1980’s.

The highly spec’d vehicle includes:

• Day cab
• Translucent external sun visor  
• Bi-reflector halogen head lights
• Daytime running lights
• Bumper mounted fog lights
• Full colour coded cab
• Dual mate seats
• Air suspended luxury driver seat
• Adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, advance emergency braking system, lane departure warning and reverse warning
• Rear air suspension
• MX-7 234hp 6-cylinder engine
• Tyre pressure indication system
• Rear LED units  

Additional work includes:

• PK 8501 SLD3 supplied and fitted by Palfinger Ireland
• Double crank beaver tail supplied and fitted by Nugent Coachworks, Dungannon
