The Bus Workers Charity Fund was established with the aim of supporting and aiding those who have been affected by, and are still suffering from, the Chernobyl disaster, by bringing them necessary items such as clothes and beds.

The charity is currently making its way across Europe to Belarus on their annual trip to supply those in need with humanitarian aid.

Over the years, DAF Trucks Ireland have been supplying vehicles and diesel, as well as donations for the trip from Ireland to Belarus.

Derry O' Shea and John Barry, Chairman and Treasurer of Bus Workers Charity Fund, recently visited DAF Trucks Ireland HQ to collect the donations that Jean had sourced.

We would also like to thank Martin Ryan Haulage Limited for their help with licences and insurances.
